Today I will write a manifesto: Writing my future with full clarity
I put it in my calender that today I will write a manifesto. I thought about this in yoga this morning. I started writing in my mind. Then—after coming home—I decided to go back to a second yoga class in a row in order to get psyched; it was Bikram yoga no less. It was a physical yoga manifesto. Now, back at home, I am writing this blog instead. I will probably do the dishes next.
My cat knows something is up. He has positioned himself in a new spot today by the heat vent near my desk. He is watching me. Cats are mind readers. They know things. He is watching me as if he sees the future floating above my head.
procrastination before words flow
Maybe if I go get a manicure, I can start writing from my iPhone? (Oh yea, I won't be able to use my hands).
I could envision the words in my head and then go back to my car and type furiously. Or do an audio recording? No, that never works. My voice is not the same as my fingers that type. There are special words hidden in the energy behind my fingertips, or my inner voice only gives itself to silence.
Maybe I'll make a cup of coffee with some special vanilla hemp milk that I recently tried at the Yoga Journal Conference (where I got the inner idea to write a manifesto in the first place)...
when waves and wind speak
I will imagine myself sitting in a lounge chair outside overlooking the water. I don't live on the water, but I will today.
I just looked up the word manifesto in the dictionary to see if that would allow the words to rush out onto the screen (or paper). It doesn't. Now I want to change my mind...
I want to write something extraordinary—an announcement to the world and to myself of how I want to be. I want it to come from my sixth sense, writing itself as I type, as if fueled by astounding clairvoyance. I want to write my future.
