Quantum physics - Day 26 of 30 day writing challenge

Touch me and I'll change

30-Day writing challenge through Kale & Cigarettes (500 words)

I'm not a scholar but I love quantum physics. I dreamed about it last night somehow and then saw someone post about the subject today (which I hardly ever see). One of my favorite books is The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra.

particles collide... we are made of particules

Circular discussions on grasping onto happiness - Day 25 of 30 day writing challenge

To be or not to be at peace

I read an article today posted on the Elephant Shambhala facebook page about True Love from a Buddhist's perspective. I immediately clicked on it believing it would all be about how it's not really love if you are grasping on to another person. [I hate those articles].

I'm glad I'm not into makeup - Day 24 of 30 day writing challenge

when it's all about the eyeliner

30-Day writing challenge through Kale & Cigarettes (500 words)

It was my older daughter's high school graduation yesterday. I have been meaning to make more of an effort to wear makeup and get dressed up more often. I watch my daughters and see all of their eyeliner. My youngest daughter takes an hour to put it all on. How is that possible when it takes me 90 seconds? One day I decided to try some of their liquid eyeliner on the top lid, when I'm used to the pencil on the lower lid. I got chastised bigtime by both girls.

A day where I'm comatose On Hold with the traffic court - Day 23 of 30 day writing challenge

My view while On Hold (Golden Gate Bridge fog horn in background)

30-Day writing challenge through Kale & Cigarettes (500 words)

Today is a day where I won't make any decisions without first having a sign. Until I see one, I'll be comatose. I want to see if this universe is really looking out for me.

I need to be prompted for everything. I might need to meditate a lot if I have nothing incoming. Spam emails don't count.

All of my magic spells will come true today - Day 22 of 30 day writing challenge

Today seems like an auspicious day. It's a day where magic spells I've set will come true.

30-Day writing challenge through Kale & Cigarettes (500 words)

As I'm just waking, I know something is up with my pineal gland, which secreted not only melatonin into my system as I slept, but also was receiving messages from my pituitary gland—the master gland bridging the endocrine system to the nervous system, keeping them in harmony.

About breathing, love and hearts - Day 21 of 30 day writing challenge

30-Day writing challenge through Kale & Cigarettes (500 words)

First of all, I keep listening to this live version of Breathe by The Cinematic Orchestra. Some words:

"That song is singing
singing into me
that everything I used to be

Seek intimidation to know who you really are - Day 20 of 30 day writing challenge

30-Day writing challenge through Kale & Cigarettes (500 words)

I take my writing cue today from Long Distance Love Bombs. He told me to "seek intimidation, hunt fear" and to basically search for opportunities today to go to my edge of confidence so that I can finally see that I already have all the answers!

if i don't feel it, i can't live it

I have had this quandary for awhile now. I know it to be true.

Finding bliss - Day 19 of 30 day writing challenge

30-Day writing challenge through Kale & Cigarettes (500 words)

"There is no passion to be found in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living." ~Nelson Mandela.

Now I know why this quote struck a chord in me today. I've been searching for a connection between my past description of bliss and my present lifestyle. This quote by Nelson Mandela speaks 1000 words to me. It reminds me 'What are you waiting for?' There are many ways I talk myself into believing that my dream is in the future.
